Dear readers we’ve just returned from our first glamping experience and what a great choice we made by booking this exquisite Yurt with a lak e at the bottom of our camp. Private, peaceful, nature on your doorstep. We stayed in Dragon yurt II, really, really cosy were my first impressions, I also quickly realised that everything we needed was there. It was fun cooking/preparing food and drinks under the canopy of the outside…. We had our little dog with us so we walked all over the site, also a great (easy) walk to the Lamb Inn through the field and lane (as marked on the maps) We were ideally placed location-wise with so many places to see/explore and our Yurt had lots of information about things to see & do if you wanted. I also appreciated being flanked by the field of Gladiolis and Sunflowers as we arrived and left each time. I have purposefully not described the Yurt too much as I don’t want to spoil the surprise. If you don’t mind me suggesting, take a nice bottle of something, sit down outside and just be 🙂

Really loved it here. Everything was perfect. Gorgeous room, stunning decor. Loved the whole concept of it. We took the dogs too which is a. Onus a s not many other places let you do that. The lake was beautiful. Owners really friendly. Would recommend to everyone! Very peaceful.

Stayed in the Maharaja’s Yurt with husband, 9yr old son and dog. Fantastic! We all loved the yurt, the outdoor cooking area, the location, th e hot shower and even the composting toilet was bearable! Had glorious weather but cold enough at night to make full use of the wood burner and open fire pit. Lots of toasted marshmallows. Can highly recommend.

My wife, 10 year old daughter and dog really enjoyed our stay in the Love Yurt this weekend. We are not fans of camping but the superior bathroom b lock and secluded setting helped ease us resistant types into the joy of outdoor life. Thank you for the experience.

We had the most beautiful and incredible weekend at Forest Yurts. I organised a hen party for 24 girls and a dog and Andre at Forest Yurts was fant astic from start to finish. The communication was easy and the directions were easy to get into the yurts and how to use everything. The food boxes that were delivered were absolutely divine and delicious. We had the lovely Becky Trip from Aura Beauty come and give us massages in the yurt. It was the perfect weekend with the most beautiful views we were so lucky with the weather and the yurts were so beautiful inside. We didn’t want to leave!! Great to have a weekend of no electricty and being back to nature with comfort of a warm shower and beautiful surroundings!! Thank you Forest yurts we will be back!!!

Had a couple of nights in the beautiful Dragon yurt, which was a real glamping experience. Each has it’s own facilities and was well spaced o ut so very private. Very dog friendly, a lake walk on the doorstep and beautiful views across the water. Hoping to be back with family members very soon. Despite the beautiful, peaceful location it’s not far to villages, pubs, beaches and the New Forest itself. We had one slight issue that was immediately dealt with so no complaints at all!

Due to Covid our holiday abroad was cancelled so we booked very late after a internet search and was hugely impressed with the Yurt. Communication was great from start to finish and the Yurt and its facilities were everything you could ask for. We took our dogs and had some lovely walks in the farm area as well as the beach which was only 15 minutes away. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable short break in beautiful surroundings in a unique dwelling, will be back!

Lovely couple of days at my yurt with the dogs. Wonderful location and a time to recalibrate with nature and things we take for granted. Dogs had a fab time and are now exhausted. Will definitely go again!! Thank you Forest Yurts!!

I just had the most amazing time with my 2 dogs at Forest Yurts. Such a peaceful and serene place to chill out and relax. The beds are comfy, the f eather duvet an absolute treat. The wood fire so nice and toasty on a chilly night. And with the cooking and eating area being under cover it’s the ideal place to stay no matter what the weather. Location great, short drive to amazing forest walks and the beach. Already checking the calendar to see when I can go back. I highly recommend booking Forest Yurts!!!

We have just returned from a belated Christmas gift from my partner. It was lovely to get away for a couple of night. Beds we’re comfy, yurt and showers clean. Very peaceful with the birds and owl. Easy walking distance to 3 pubs. Took our 2 dogs, so very dog friendly which is a must for us.

Thank you forest yurts for providing us with such a fabulous weekend! We stayed in the large elephant yurt. It really exceeded expectations, comfy beds, clean toilets and showers, fabulous cooking facilities. You really have thought of everything. We would 100% stay again and it’s the best way to camp in the wilderness. We loved the little farm shop for gorgeous cakes! And there is a local co op and butchers just up the road for bbq stuff which we loved. Thanks again, would highly recommend!
